Well, number one I want to start this off by thanking my boyfriend for giving me this idea because, to be honest with you, I've been slacking on ideas lately. This one touches home for me though, his family is one of the best families I've ever met.

1. You end up doing chores around the house.

Listen, chores are boring at my actual house but since I'm with my boyfriend, they're ten times more fun.

2. You are comfortable being at their house alone.

The number of times they went golfing and I sat at their house and just hung out with the dog is a lot.

3. You know the signs of their dog.

I know when she's hungry, when she just woke up, and when she wants to go in or out but scratching her paw on the door (she does like to fake it a lot though).

4. There is always a plate with your name on it.

Especially, when waking up the morning to see a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese with your name on it is such a nice feeling and so good.

5. And sometimes, you even help cook dinner.

Which is always fun because I'm always learned new ways on how to cook some new food (especially Chicken Parm and Vodka Pasta).

6. There is always a spot for you to sleep in at their home.

In this spot, happens to be my favorite bed, and honestly, I sleep the best there.

7. You are always welcomed with open arms.

Literally, always get a hug at the front door.

8. They feel like your own family after awhile.

You see them so much, it's like they are your family.

9. You get comfortable around them insanely quick.

I can literally walk around their house after I woke up looking like a mess and I'm completely comfortable with it. (That's how you know they're good people).

10. They remember the small things about you.

Like the fact that you're a picky eater or that you enjoy elephants.

11. They want whats best for you.

They'll give you true advice, no sugar coating.

12. They'll always support you.

No matter what.

13. They'll love you like you are their own.

And it's one of the best feelings in the world.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
