13 Guys Every Single Girl Who Grew Up in the 2000s And 2010s Had A MASSIVE Crush On

I've been in love with Zac Efron since 2006.

Growing up in the 2000s meant every night at 8 p.m. I was watching a movie on Disney Channel. Sure, I loved the cheesy plot lines, the pretty teenage girls, and the the funny commercials in between... but my absolute favorite part was imagining that the cute boy of every movie was my boyfriend. You could say I was a little boy crazy for someone in elementary school. Can you really blame me though? With all the cute boys in the 2000s and 2010s there was no way I wasn't going to be at least a little boy crazy.

Here are just a few of those boys that contributed to my (and probably yours too) boy craziness growing up.

1. Zac Efron as Troy Bolton in every HSM movie

He was one of the first boys I was ever in love with. I had Zac Efron holding a basketball while wearing an East High jersey on just about everything I owned. I had him on my folders, cups, and even a nightgown, which looking back on it, is kind of creepy.

2. Baby-faced Justin Bieber

Something about his high pitched singing voice and his haircut that covered his forehead was absolutely adorable.

3. Jesse McCartney

Okay, I still have a crush on this guy. I was ridiculously young when "Beautiful Soul" came out, but I still heard it on Radio Disney and completely fell in love.

4. Taylor Lautner

Maybe it was the fact that he loved Bella so much and got himself into the epic love triangle of our time. Or maybe it was his six pack and bicep tattoo. It was probably that.

5. Jesse from Hannah Montana

I definitely was in love with this guy because he was the 'bad boy' that we weren't supposed to like. I always wanted him to end up with Miley and I know that my friends did too. Nothing like a bad boy who plays guitar to make your 10-year-old self swoon.

6. Drake Bell

How could we not fall in love with this guy? He could play guitar, got all the girls, and never failed to crack me up when he was fighting with Josh.

7. Aaron Samuels

His hair will forever look sexy pushed back. Forever and always.

8. Corbin Bleu

Troy Bolton's sidekick stole my heart when I saw him play basketball in the very first "High School Musical." The boy could sing, dance and, double dutch like there was no tomorrow.

9. Every single member of One Direction

I devoted hours of my life to listening to their first few albums. I knew pretty much everything there was to know about them and thought that I was dating all of them at the same time.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
