7 Snacks Girls Choose Over Boys, Because Calories Always Text You Back

Sorry, Chad. I'll always choose mozzarella sticks over you.

Boys... what would we be without them? To start with, we'd probably be a lot saner because they sure know how to get inside our heads.

They lie, cheat, play, and tell you that they're not like the others. C'mon ladies, we've played this dumb game a million and one times. There are some things that would NEVER do that to you. The solution?

Snacks.

That's right, snacks.

1. Popcorn

Still a little salty over that boy who didn’t give you the freaking time of day? Don’t even sweat it, because these small morsels of popped air have more flavor than he ever will. (Simple, yet damn TASTY).

2. Pretzels

Boys' minds are too twisted for us to handle sometimes. One minute they're all over you, but the next day they'll pretend like they don't know you. Pretzels will never do you wrong; eat them plain, dip 'em in Nutella, eat them in stick form... pretzels > boys, ALWAYS. (P.S. if you're feeling a little soft, pretzels won't call you out on it. They love being soft, too.)

3. Chips

Kettle-cooked, lightly salted, extra crispy, BBQ flavored... why choose one type to stick with when you can have VARIETY? Boys come in many forms, as well, but college girls somehow manage to pick the most boring and/or worst off the shelf (without even realizing it!)... you can never go wrong with a handful (or bag) of chips.

4. Mozzarella Sticks

Oh, boy. These crispy, cheesy sticks of awesomeness are always going to be your #1 bae. Unlike all of the kids you've made very brief eye contact with at the frat house, mozzarella sticks will always be the center of your attention on a Friday night. They won't make you cry like the jackass who broke up with you via Facebook messenger.

5. Chocolate

Sweet, indulgent, bitter, savory...a whole array of characteristics that you can find in a chocolate bar over that self-absorbed undergrad you just met at the bar! And ya know what? Even the most bitter chocolate is good for your soul (dark chocolate, that is).

6. Pizza

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, SNACK TIME. Pizza will be there for you whenever you need it -- no exceptions. Its versatility is pretty damn attractive, in my opinion. (Sorry, random lax bro I occasionally swoon over, pizza will always have my heart).

7. Ice cream

Well, simply because we need something to soothe our icy cold hearts after it gets shattered for the eighteenth time this year. Also, because Joe Biden loves ice cream and he's a pretty cool guy.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
