The male mind is an ever-fascinating, mysterious place. Guys seem to think girls are hard to read, but I beg to differ. Reading your mind let alone your face is something we find hard to master. Your smile offers more mystery than the Mona Lisa's, and we can't seem to get enough of it. Here I've compiled a list of some questions I've always wanted to ask a guy, and why I want to ask them.

Add these to your list of things to ask a guy if you haven't already!

1. Does it really take that much effort to respond to a Snapchat or a text?

I ponder this every single day. Girls will literally pause their entire lives to answer a text or a Snapchat from you, while you take hours. I need to hear the true reasoning as to why guys text back slower than my parents, who barely comprehend what texting even is.

2. Why do you take longer than we do to get ready in the morning?

Guys... why? You've got next to no hair, and just have to throw sweats, a T-shirt, and Tims on and you're solid. Girls have to straighten or curl their hair, do a whole skin care routine if they're extra like that, and then go through the process of choosing the right outfit. Don't get me started on makeup. You all have it so easy, so why do you take an hour to get ready?

3. How can you be so sloppy?

Some of you are gross, hands down. You let your room turn into a pigsty before you figure out that it might be time to clean it. Do tell how you live with clothes scattered everywhere, and old food in the most random places. For those of you who keep it clean, props to you.

4. When do you know the time is right to bring a girl home to the family?

When do you know you want your mom to meet a girl? With me, I don't want a guy to meet the family — let alone know about him — unless I see something in him. Coming from a strict household, bringing a boy home is a big thing. Is there just some internal clock that chimes when the time is right, or do you simply go with the flow?

5. Do you have gossip sessions with the boys?

Girls love to gossip, I'll admit I'm a sucker for it. Do guys sit together shotgunning beer and gossiping about that thing Mark did at the Fiji darty yesterday or about how you're just waiting for Justin and Mia to break up because it's bound to happen sooner or later? Maybe not, but it would be really funny if you did.

6. Do you gush about the girl you like to the boys, or do you play it cool?

I'm pretty good at playing it cool when I'm talking about the guy I like, while some girls need their mouths tapped so they stop talking. Do you talk about her all the time, or just keep things super low key in conversations? Do you blush just thinking about her, let alone talking about her?

7. Do you have a song that always makes you think about a girl?

I hear a lot of songs that automatically make me think of the guy I like. I've always wondered if my name pops into his head when he listens to the radio. Then again, all guys seem to listen to is rap so I'm sure a cute innocent thought isn't what first comes to mind.

8. When you introduce a girl to the boys, do you place a lot of importance in it? Or is it just a trivial thing?

If she meets the boys does that mean she's a keeper or is she just another girl on your checklist? I'd hope that if she meets your friends she's someone you care for.

9. You do know that there is far more to this world besides Netflix and chill... right?

Take your girl out somewhere, it can be Burger King for all we care, we don't want to sit around and watch Netflix every time we're over. Be spontaneous! Any effort is enough to make any girl smile, so be outside the box and surprise her. This thing called the Internet already has ideas thought of for you.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
