True love is a funny thing. Merriam-Webster defines love as "strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties" and defines true as “fully realized or fulfilled;” so I’m going to mash this together and say true love is “strong affections for another person that you fully realize and understand.”

However, when I look at this and ponder on it. I don’t think that fully encompasses all that true love is. True love is different to everyone, and sometimes its actually hard to define. I collected thoughts from 10 people to try and get a better explanation of what “true love" is.

1. “God is Love.” -Kelsi

2. “When you first wake up and you look awful and your breath smells, and you basically just rose from the dead but they still kiss you on their way out and say 'goodbye beautiful'." -Kierra

3. "Probably when my boyfriend and I are in the same room doing our own thing... We know we need and want each other but we are in our own worlds... And he reaches over and squeezes me, shows me he loves and cares and was thinking about me." -Mikayla

4. “Being able to see the good in the other person, embracing your differences and challenging each other to become even better people through all the ups and downs” -Angela

5. “I think true love is being separate people but when you’re together, you complement each other in every way. You bring out the best in each other. You fight and you argue, but you know that that fight will never discourage the love you have for one another.” -Kelly

6. “Understanding and acceptance.” -Amelia

7. “When you know deep down that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.” -Jacob

8. “Unconditionally caring for each other." -Anonymous

9. “A willingness to lay down your own self, dreams, favorite things, time, money, and your heart for someone else.”-Anne

10. “I think true love is the passion a couple shares. It is about founding balance, creating comfort, and acknowledging each other emotions and feelings. True love is everlasting. It’s love where you’re putting someone else first. If person A can only give 40% person B must give 60%.”- Caileigh

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
