I’ve been dating my current boyfriend for a little over two years now. We’ve dated my entire college career. I get the following questions on an almost daily basis. Here are 12 questions college girls who have boyfriends are sick of hearing.

1 . “Are y’all going to get married?”

Truth is, I really don’t know. Maybe so, maybe not - I’m just here for the ride.

2. “It’s college, why are you dating someone?”

Because I love him?

3. “Don’t you want to see what else is out there?”

No, not really. Do YOU know what else is out there? Drunken hookups and sleazy guys. No thanks, I'll stay right where I am.

4. “What if you two break up right after college?”

I guess that’s a risk I’m willing to take. It’s better to give it a shot than not all.

5. “This is your time to date around, why stay in a relationship?”

I didn’t know that you couldn’t date people after college? We may not work out, but shouldn’t we at least try?

6. “He doesn’t even live here, you could hook up with anyone and he wouldn’t know.”

First of all, that’s disgusting. Second of all, why would I want to mess up a great thing? Third of all, even if I wanted to and he couldn’t find out, I would know.

7. “Won’t you have some midlife crisis if you only date one dude in college?”

You can’t live in fear. I highly doubt dating one man in college is going to affect me 30 years down the road.

8. “You can’t have a mature relationship in college. It just doesn’t work.”

Okay then how am I in one?

9. “How can you be so naive?”

I don’t think that being in a relationship in college is naive. We may end up together, we may not - that’s how ALL romantic relationships work.

10. “Don’t you get annoyed dating when there are so many other options here?”

No.

11. “Do you ever think about dating someone else?”

No.

12. “Don’t you think you’re settling?”

No.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
