25 Things We've Wanted To Say To Our Exes At Least Once

Because "it's not you, it's me" doesn't quite cut it.

At some point following a difficult breakup, most of us have probably thought once or twice or many times about reaching back out to our exes. Maybe we want to tell them something we couldn't find the words for before, maybe we want to scream curses at them until our voices crack, or maybe we just want to tell them we love them and that we're sorry it had to end this way.

Whatever the case may be, here's a pretty inclusive list of most of the things you've probably thought about telling your ex (and hopefully, you never did):

1. "F*ck you"

2. "This is definitely your loss"

3. "Not surprised to hear you're still single"

4. "I hate that I still think about you"

5. "You really were awful in bed"

6. "What the hell was I thinking?"

7. "Us breaking up was the best thing to ever happen to me"

8. "I miss you sometimes"

9. "Did I really mean so little to you?"

10. "I hope she/he is everything you could ever want"

11. "I deserve better than you/You deserve better than me"

12. "Was she/he really worth cheating on me for?"

13. "I hope you're happy"

14. "I loved you, but I've moved on now"

15. "Again, f*ck you"

16. "I'm happier than I've ever been"

17. "I hate what you did to me"

18. "What's lower— the way you treated me, or your standards?"

19. "Best decision I ever made"

20. "I hope you still think about me"

21. "Did you ever even love me?"

22. "I don't think I'll ever forgive you"

23. "It just wasn't meant to be— it's neither of our faults"

24. "I knew you were too good to be true"

25. "I love you, but I'm letting you go"

Whoever they are, they're probably not worth chasing down again just so you can relive the heartbreak all over again. Let the memories of them fade away and I promise you, you'll be happier in time.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
