I see so many talented, beautiful, single girls who constantly feel the need to find validation in their relationship status. And I completely understand why. Whether it be from the pressure of your family and friends, or maybe the mental clock ticking in your head, I'm here to reassure you that you are doing just fine.

To the girl who's still single and can't figure out why.

Let me ask you a few questions.

Are you in that weird stage in your life where half of your friends are getting engaged and the other half spend more time at the bar than hitting the books? Because if so, you must be a single girl in college and let me tell you, sis, this is one of the best times to be single. Don't question it, embrace it.

Are you killing it at school, kicking it with your girls, and completely convinced yourself boys don't date you because you're intimidatingly gorgeous? Because let's be real, that is the only plausible solution right? Well, you're not far off. Sometimes having it all can scare off boys. Let me break it down. Being a great girl leads to being a great girlfriend, which leads to being a great wife, which leads to a great deal of commitment, which leads to boys leaving before you can even say the word... great. It's basic science.

And don't we all know a girl who is fabulously put together at all times, has a bomb personality, and is thriving away in her career but still shows up solo to the party? Do you think she's wondering why shes still single? No. There is no void to fill in her life because its full of life already!

You could look perfect on paper, you could look perfect in person, but if it's not your time to find somebody, somebody you deserve, then you should just keep doing you girl.

But hey, I still understand why we question ourselves from time to time. It's the triggering questions like "what's a girl like you doing being single?" which is also translated into a girl's heads as, "what is wrong with you that makes boys not want to date you?" I know some may think its a compliment to ask a girl why she is single, but I don't think they understand that question can make her question a heck of a lot more.

The pressure from those around you shouldn't make you doubt the amazing things you have achieved while flying solo.

By now you should know the answer to your question. Nothing is wrong with you. Regardless of what situation you are in, being single can be so rewarding if you do it right, so don't question what your love life looks like just because it's different than what you might have expected.

So, to the girl who is still single and can't figure out why, you're doing just fine.
