A Southern belle is a breed of her own. She's special in the way she conducts herself. Personality wise, she knows how to have a great time. She also has great hospitality and is a confident girl. It's easy to love her.

Here are the 13 best qualities about her.

1. She knows how to dress up for the occasion

She's a fashion rockstar and has a solid understanding of what is (or isn't) appropriate. She'll help dress you up too so you're feeling and looking your best.

2. She is outgoing

She's got the energy and spirit aplenty, and if you can keep up with it, you're in great hands.

3. She is fun to talk to

Regardless of whether or not she has a Southern accent, you can pick up on her energetic vibe and you'll feel like it's a breeze. You can feel an almost instant connection with her.

4. She makes you feel welcome

When talking to her, you know that she provides great hospitality. You can't help but respect that. She knows how to keep things tidy around the residence and understands how to promote a welcoming environment.

5. She knows how to be faithful

If she falls in love with you, it's because she wants you and only you. Don't let her go. Ever.

6. She is independent

She doesn't need you, but even if she wants you, that just shows you how special she is, because she is able to handle being on her own even though she appreciates your company.

7. She can unleash the sass

She can definitely make you swoon when she gets all sassy with you. This is part of her confident vibe that she has to her, and if she's confident around you, you're doing something right.

8. She is not afraid of intimacy

Falling in love with someone is supposed to be intimate, and intimacy is a special feeling. She isn't afraid to be intimate with you and it's something to love about her.

9. She has survival skills

Living and/or growing up in the South, one common activity is hunting, and it's something she understands how to do. It's something that you can do as a team. Furthermore, she knows how game is caught and then handled.

10. She is open-minded

She's willing to try a bunch of different activities, whether it's going hunting, fishing, horseback riding, or doing an activity on the beach or water.

11. She is genuine

Genuineness isn't just about being respectful, which Southern belles typically are, they're also going to be real with you. She will not hide anything from you, and she won't accept any lies either.

12. She will be your best friend

She's willing to spend time with you, and the two of you are the ultimate team. She encourages you too. When she's your best friend, you two are almost inseparable, and even if you aren't always attached at the hip, you are still on each other's minds.

13. She has standards

It's no problem for you because if she chooses you, it's because you are someone who meets, and even goes above and beyond, those very standards.

A Southern belle has plenty to bring to the table, where she brings a vivacious personality, intelligence, genuineness, and independence. The 13 qualities above are the 13 best qualities about a Southern belle, and they are all qualities to love about her.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
