"You don't find love, it finds you. Its got a little bit to do with destiny, fate, and whats written in the stars".

Two years ago, I had no idea how much you would mean to me. We clicked immediately, feeling comfortable being silly around each other and laughing, laughing genuinely and sincerely.

I was shy, afraid of getting my heart broken and you were outgoing and overwhelmingly kind.

You took me on our first date and picked me up at my dorm by the pond. I ran down the stairs, heart still fluttering from the fact that you asked me out in the first place and blushed when I saw you. I was indecisive about what movie I wanted to see, so I let you choose.

Shortly after knowing you my life felt like a fairytale. We went on trips together, explored, went on adventures and made each other a kind of happy that we never knew existed.

We always enjoy our time together, whether we are flying across the country and exploring new cities together or just running to Walmart at 3 a.m. for cheesecake, popcorn, and pizza, our memories are unforgettable.Together we find a way to have fun, even with the simplest thing.

Our relationship is so strong and we complement one another in our day to day lives. You are stress-free and an idealist and you believe anything is possible and you help me to do the same.

You have a way of brightening even my worst days. You somehow get me to smile when I am in one of my worst moods and can instantly make me feel better. You know how much I love to talk about my day, and you never forget to ask. It is the little things that show me how much you care about me and how lucky I am.

You are one of the most good-hearted and open-minded people I have met in my life and you have made me a better person just by knowing you.

We have grown together in our relationship of two years, from being two immature college student's just trying to find their way to two mature adults creating a positive space for ourselves in the future. We know our priorities and we accept each other for our flaws.

Spending every day with you never gets old because I get to experience life with my best friend by my side.

I am thankful every day that I met someone as kind and charming as you. Each day is an adventure with you and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

I love doing life with you!

Gabriella

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
