To The Girl Who Is Torn Between Moving On And Second Chances

There is a point where you need to let go.

One of my biggest problems in life is that I'm continuously torn between cutting people off and being patient with them.

I don't want to miss an amazing opportunity with someone, but then again, are they really worth all the over-thinking, questions, and possibly even a wait?

In life in general, it can be hard sometimes to determine who you have to go through a storm for in order to flourish in the sunshine and who's just toxic and not meant to have a seat at the table of your life... which by the way, not everyone deserves a spot.

Girl, a woman will do any and everything to make a relationship work... and that is why she will almost never regret it when it is time to walk away. If your absence doesn't affect him, then your presence never truly mattered. And they can't blame you for walking away if they never made you want to stay.

At some point, you may realize that you have done too much for someone and that the only possible next step is to simply stop. Stop giving them your attention. Stop letting them cloud your thoughts. And lastly, stop letting them keep you from living your best life.

It's not that you're walking away because you're "giving up."

You're walking away because one day, you finally had to draw the line between determination and desperation.

The more chances you give someone, the less respect they'll start to have for you. They will most likely ignore any standards you've set together because they know that another chance is always waiting for them... don't give them that chance.

I'm a firm believer in the fact that if you're brave enough to say "goodbye," then life will grant you with another "hello."

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
