Have you ever realized how much life can change in the time span of a year?

For some it's just a transition from high school to college and most people who think about their future are thinking about what they want to pursue a career in, not many people think about life ahead of these four year and where that means you will be in relation to having a job but also having a family. Don't get me wrong, I'm still that young girl at heart, but I just love thinking about how life will be 4 or 5 years down the road. What a blessing it is to know who you want to be with for life ever lasting.

1. You get butterflies every time you see him.

Over a year ago, when you came to my house for the first time to hangout you walked up my driveway and I remember getting these feelings of butterflies in my stomach. Oh how you made me so very happy, that first day was a day unlike any other.

2. Each day is a new adventure.

I don't think I have ever done so much in the time span of one year. We made a list of 100 things to do before you left for basic training and I left for college. It was summer and we had less than 100 days, but we didn't fail our list, we did different things every day and we loved, and cherished every moment of it. I think the most exciting adventures are yet to come, because we still have our entire lives ahead of us and together we can conquer anything.

3. There is no other person who can make you feel the way he does.

There is no other person on this universe who can make me love like you do, smile like you do, or laugh like you do. I can't even remember a time when we weren't laughing, smiling, or being more in love with one another. Yes, people hit little road bumps along the way, but you work through that because you love each other more than anything.

4. You talk about a future.

Yes, my fellow men and women it is okay to talk about a future with someone. Especially when you have never been more sure about anything in your entire life.

5. You are apart of one another's family.

When you are "apart" of each others families, you know the direction you are heading in and yes it is normal for this to happen at the end of your teenage years. There is no better feeling than sharing great times with your family and you sharing great times with mine.

Yes, I am 18. Yes, I am in love with the right person, and yes I am the happiest woman. Despite the fact that we are away from one another most of the time and I may only get to see you a few times a year, I am thankful for those moments.

The moments we see each other again, the new memories and life ever after. I seem to always find myself writing articles about you, cause you always are on my mind, and there are endless words to share about you because I want other people to believe there is love out there for everyone. I couldn't be more blessed to be a part of your life. Until I see you again, I love you. xoxo

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
